[INSPIRATIONS] Our first collection is inspired by the arts of the Ndebele tribe. Our first collection is inspired by the arts of the Ndebele tribe. Ndebele people live in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Traditionally, the Ndebele women paint colorful geometric patterns on the walls of their house. The art of painting has been passed on from generation to generation from mother to daughter. We have reinterpreted this Ndebele style made of clean lines, graphics, shapes and colors. [OUR JEWELRY] Our design is unique and our jewelry is hand made in South Africa The distinctive style of our products is the result of Parisian designers meeting African traditional arts and talented crafters. Our jewels are handmade in South Africa. The beadwork requires 2 to 8 hours of work depending on the size of the bracelet. The final work is handmade in Paris using brass with gold finishing.
[COMMITMENT] We aim to make meaningful jewels. Amahlé jewels are one-off pieces of craft made using local and traditional know how. We work with talented South African crafters who use traditional techniques inherited from their parents and grand-parents. Our crafters work with two associations whose purpose is to improve the living conditions in the region of KwaZulu-Natal: employment in rural areas, women empowerment, preservation of traditional knowledge, and fighting HIV. Openness, respect and trust are central values for our company. Visit Amahlé shop
